We may collect the following types of information when you use Screnix:

a. Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the app, including features accessed, session duration, and screens viewed. This data is collected anonymously and used solely to improve the app experience.

b. Device Information
We may collect device-related information such as device type, operating system version, screen resolution, language settings, and app version to ensure compatibility and performance.

c. Advertising Identifier
We use your device's Advertising ID (a resettable, non-personal identifier) to serve relevant ads through third-party advertising networks. You may reset or disable this ID at any time in your device settings.

d. Approximate Location
We may infer your general location (country or city) based on your IP address for the purpose of serving regionally relevant content and ads.

We do not collect: your name, phone number, physical address, financial account details, or any other sensitive personal information. Screnix does not require account registration to use the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Screnix app and its features
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience
  • Detect and fix bugs or technical issues
  • Display advertisements through third-party ad networks
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data for individual profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

3. Third-Party Advertising

Screnix is a free app supported by advertising. We work with the following third-party ad networks, which may collect and use certain data (such as Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads:

Each network's data collection is governed by their own privacy policies. To opt out of personalized ads, go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt Out of Ads Personalization on your Android device.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Trusted partners who assist in app operations (e.g., analytics, crash reporting), bound by strict confidentiality obligations
  • Ad networks: Technical data and Advertising ID necessary for ad delivery, as described in Section 3
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or a legitimate request from government authorities
  • Protection of rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Screnix, our users, or the public

5. Data Retention and Security

We retain anonymous usage data for a maximum of 26 months in accordance with standard analytics service policies. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.

6. Children's Privacy

Screnix is a stock screening application intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@screnix.com and we will promptly delete such information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing of your data
  • The right to reset or disable your Advertising ID via your device settings

8. Third-Party Links

The Screnix app may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as stock market data sources or brokerage platforms). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you visit through our app.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notification or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Screnix after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
